LAS VEGAS -- The Fremont Street Experience, located in the city's
downtown area, will host the Las Vegas Jazz Festival June 1 to 3.
The event will feature 25 bands performing on five indoor stages
and five outdoor stages during the three days.
In all, there will be 220 live performances ranging in style
from jazz and Latin jazz to Cajun zydeco.
Scheduled entertainers include the 10th Avenue Jazz Band,
Burning Banjo Trio, Gator Beat, Igor's Jazz Cowboys, Stan Mark
& His Sin Sity Suitz, the Boondockers and Big Tiny Little &
the Show Band.
The bands will perform from 3 p.m. until 11:30 p.m. on June 1;
from 10 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. on June 2, and from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
on June 3.
Stage locations will be within five city blocks and are
sponsored by the resorts at the Fremont Street Experience.
The outdoor stages will be located at the following venues:
First and Fremont streets, Third and Fremont streets, at the Main
Street Station South parking lot, the Golden Nugget pool and on
Fremont Street between the Las Vegas Club and the Golden Gate Hotel
& Casino.
Indoor venues will be located at the Lady Luck Pavilion, the
Fremont Hotel's Gold Ballroom, the Four Queens Casino Hotel King's
Pavilion, Fitzgeralds Casino & Holiday Inn Vincenzo's
Restaurant and the Golden Nugget Theatre Ballroom.
One daily admission ticket provides access to all of the indoor
and outdoor stage locations.
Tickets are priced at $10 per day for a single-day admission
ticket and $25 for a three-day festival pass.
