When an organization gets the right guy in the top job, good things happen. The organization gets energized, renewed. It finds the people and the resources and makes the connections that will enable it to make things happen, and then things happen.
For the U.S. Travel Association, the current CEO, Roger Dow, has proven to be the right guy, and the industry should be pleased, as we are, that he has signed on to stay in the job another four years.
U.S. Travel and its predecessors have had a lot of good people over the years, but Dow and his team have managed to take the organization, and the travel industry it represents, to a new level of respect and effectiveness in dealing with the federal government.
Four more years? For sure.
