The Carlton House Collection is poised to open the Market Street Hotel in Edinburgh, Scotland, early this year.
The 98-room property, which is available for booking now, is located on the border of Edinburgh's Old Town, adjacent to the City Art Centre in a site that has sat empty for a half century.
Featuring a contemporary, urban look created by interior design firm FG Stijl, the hotel will offer panoramic views across the Waverly Valley.
The Market Street Hotel is the first hotel in Scotland selected to be a member of the Design Hotels collection of privately owned and operated properties.
