Thousands of Eurostar passengers were delayed for up to nine hours on Tuesday due to a power cable failure in France.
Eurostar service between London and continental Europe was returning to normal on Tuesday after cancellations and delays due to a sagging overhead cable that forced operators to switch the trains from high-speed lines to slower ones, the BBC reported.
Eurostar offers high-speed rail service between London, Paris and Brussels, with numerous connections throughout Belgium and France.
