The Hoxton, Florence marked its official opening in March, featuring 161 rooms across two buildings: a late-Renaissance palazzo featuring its original facade and grand vaulted arcade; and a 1980s Andrea Branzi-designed structure, with a timber facade and a minimalist, linear design.

Set in the heart of the historic city center, the property features Alassio restaurant, serving Mediterranean plates and classic Italian comfort food; Enoteca Violetta, a casual wine bar that also serves snacks; an expansive courtyard; dedicated event spaces; and a self-contained three-bedroom apartment with its own private entrance and living space.

The Hoxton, Florence is the brand's second hotel in Italy, following the launch of The Hoxton, Rome in 2021.

AIME Studios, which oversaw the design and interiors, preserved the Renaissance elements, such as an outdoor arcade encircling the courtyard, lime-washed walls and original frescoes dating to 1611.

The contrasting building features a mix of vibrant colors and bold patterns and finishes.

Other amenities include Hox Gallery, a dedicated space in the lobby designed to showcase the work of emerging artists, and pet beds, bowls and treats for four-legged guests.

The Hoxton is part of Accor's Ennismore lifestyle hospitality group.
