Norwegian Air launched nonstop Boeing 787 Dreamliner two-class service from Oakland, Calif., to Copenhagen, Denmark.
"Expanding our West Coast service has always been a part of Norwegian's growth plan," said Thomas Ramdahl, Norwegian's chief commercial officer, adding, "If the response we've seen from travelers in the Oakland/San Francisco area continues, we look forward to even more growth from the Bay Area."
In addition to the service from the Bay Area, the carrier now serves Copenhagen from Boston, Fort Lauderdale, Los Angeles, New York and Orlando.
