Rosewood Hotels & Resorts inked a deal to manage the Rosewood Rome, a new luxury hotel in Italy's capital.
Set to open in 2023, the block-long property will comprise three historical buildings dating to the early 1900s. They include the former headquarters of Italy's Banca Nazionale del Lavoro, designed by Italian architect and urban planner Marcello Piacentini and renovated by architecture and engineering firm Jacobs and interior design firm BAR Studio.
The property overlooks the Via Veneto and will feature 157 guestrooms, including 44 suites, as well as a contemporary Italian bistro, a lobby bar and cafe and a rooftop bar with city views.
Other amenities include a modern Roman bathhouse in the bank's original underground vault, a rooftop Rosewood Spa, a reflecting pool, a fitness center, three meetings rooms and a ballroom.
The Rosewood Rome will mark the brand's fourth project in Italy.
