Finnair has entered into a partnership with Finnish chef Eero Vottonen for its latest Signature Menu collaboration. The menu will debut on the carrier's long-haul, business-class service out of Helsinki to all destinations on Jan. 11.
Vottonen, who was selected as Finland's candidate for last year's Bocuse d'Or competition in Lyon, France, has worked in some of Finland's best-known restaurants, including Chez Dominique, Luomo, G.W. Sundmans and Olo.
While not offering any hints as to what might be on the menu, Vottonen did say, "The philosophy I bring to cooking is actually quite simple; the flavor always comes first, and I want to use quality ingredients that are sourced from nearby suppliers."
