W Hotels marked the opening of W Escape Aug. 9 in Costa Navarino, Greece.
Located in the 32-acre Costa Navarino resort area, which features 1,500 feet of Mediterranean shoreline and overlooks the protected Bay of Navarino, the property welcomes adults and young guests over 12 years old.
The 246-room hotel, the brand's first property in Greece, features a bioclimatic design with an emphasis on sustainability, interior design -- including a culinary market square -- led by London-based and globally focused studio MKV Design, contemporary art including works by young artists at the Athens School of Fine Arts and a wet deck with an infinity-edge pool with views of the Ionian Sea.
Other amenities include the Away Spa and Fit, a full-service gym with an indoor-outdoor lap pool.
