Rates & Dates: St. Regis San Francisco celebrates anniversaries

To celebrate its fifth anniversary and the 75th anniversary of the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art this year, the St. Regis San Francisco has designed two limited-edition, museum-theme suites and an anniversary package. The suites feature art prints from the museum's "75 Years of Looking Forward" exhibition series. Taking center stage in the Gems of the Museum suite are Henri Matisse's "Femme au chapeau," Jackson Pollock's "Guardians of the Secret" and a collage by Leslie Shows. Showcased in the Art of California Suite are works by California natives: "Ocean Park #19" and "Ocean Park #122," both by Richard Diebenkorn; "Sentinels" by Anne Bremer; and "Sunset Streets" by Wayne Thiebaud. As part of the celebration, the hotel is offering the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art Anniversary Travel package, valid through December and priced from $1,195 per room. The plan includes overnight accommodations in one of the suites, two passes to the museum and a copy of the museum's anniversary catalog.

Soto Retreats offers lessons in yoga, surfing, Spanish with Costa Rica stays

Packaging surfing, yoga and Spanish-language immersion programs, Soto Retreats is paying travel agents 15% commission on any of its packages throughout the year. Retreats include the Spanish and Surf package, a customized package that includes surfing and Spanish lessons; the Surf and Adventure package, which is priced from $1,700 and offers a more-intense focus on surfing and a variety of activities in the surrounding area; and the Surf, Yoga and Spanish getaway, which is priced from $1,900 and offers daily yoga as well as surfing lessons and Spanish language and culture lessons. The package prices are based on double occupancy, offered on a Sunday-Saturday basis and valid year-round. Retreats are based near the town of Jaco, Costa Rica, known for its consistent surf breaks for both beginners and intermediate surfers. In addition, Hermosa Beach is located nearby, offering more challenging waves for experienced surfers.

Hotel Monaco Denver package links to museum's King Tut exhibit

Kimpton's Hotel Monaco Denver is offering the All Wrapped Up overnight plan for guests coming to town to see the "Spectacular Tutankhamun: The Golden King and the Great Pharaohs" exhibit, which begins June 29 at the Denver Art Museum. Gaylord resort near D.C. discounts rates for Beatles festival in Sept.

Millennium St. Louis offers plans for Fourth of July, summer travel

The Millennium St. Louis is offering two packages for visits to the city this summer. The Red, White and View plan, valid July 2 to 5, is priced from $169 per room, double occupancy, and includes accommodations and breakfast for two at the Fourth Street Grill. For $189, guests can book a Superior Arch View room for viewing the holiday fireworks from their room (in a standard room, guests can see the fireworks display from the outdoor pool deck or the lobby). For those visiting the rest of the summer, a Family Attractions package can be booked with rates starting at $119 per night, double occupancy. The plan includes accommodations, breakfast and parking, as well as a guide to free St. Louis attractions. Utah's Blue Boar Inn offers 'Bed, Biathlon and Breakfast' deal

The 12-room Blue Boar Inn in Midway, Utah, is offering the overnight Bed, Biathlon and Breakfast plan throughout the year. The hotel is located adjacent to Wasatch State Park and Soldier Hollow, the venue for the cross country skiing and biathlon events during the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City. The overnight package includes accommodations, European breakfast each morning and an excursion to Soldier Hollow for Nordic skiing in the winter or biking in the summer. In addition, the excursion comes with a basket of pastries and sparkling cider. Rates for the plan vary, depending on accommodations and biathlon level (gold, silver or bronze, with gold being reserved for the most experienced riders or skiers).
