Oahu's Romer House Waikiki, opens on June 1. The 179-room hotel is a sister property to the Romer Waikiki at the Ambassador.

Located off Kuhio Avenue, Romer House Waikiki's guestrooms pay "homage to Waikiki's mid-century apartment architecture," according to its website.
The hotel also has an izakaya and bar, named Izakaya 855-ALOHA. It will serve the late-night crowd with Japanese-Hawaii fusion cuisine. There is also a pool and bar on the second floor dubbed the Backyard that will serve bentos and cocktails.

Rates start at $195 per night and reservations are open now.
