The Four Seasons Resort Lanai, the Lodge at Koele will be closed to guests starting Jan. 5.
The 102-room property will be used instead to temporarily house those working on a multimillion-dollar renovation project at Lanai’s other luxury property: the 201-room Four Seasons Resort Lanai at Manele Bay.
According to a Four Seasons official, the Lodge at Koele is expected to be closed throughout most of 2015.
Meanwhile, renovations to the oceanfront Manele Bay resort’s west wing guestrooms are expected to wrap up this fall, while work on the property’s east wing will begin in January.
Open throughout the extensive upgrade process, Manele Bay has already unveiled new restaurants Nobu Lanai, Views and One Forty, along with renovations to a number of guestrooms, suites, the spa facilities and several retail outlets.
