Registration is now open for the 2017 Global Tourism Summit sponsored by the Hawaii Tourism Authority.
The summit will take place Sept. 19 to 21 in Honolulu at the Hawaii Convention Center. The theme of this year's event is sustainability. Additionally, other presentations and discussions will touch on the importance of Hawaiian culture in tourism, global marketing, technology and innovation.
"The core objective of the Global Tourism Summit is the collaboration and sharing of knowledge to make tourism stronger and better for the Hawaiian Islands and the industry as a whole," George D. Szigeti, HTA president and CEO, said in a statement.
Early-bird registration is available through July 31 at discounted rates, and both partial and full conference tickets are available.
The conference sponsored by HTA was formerly called the Hawaii Tourism Conference. For more information, click here.
