Hawaii's second Holiday Inn Express, and the largest one in the Americas, is now taking guests after a $30 million rebranding and renovation.
Formerly Maile Sky Court on Kuhio Avenue in Waikiki, the 596-room property is the largest one in the brand portfolio outside of the 1,002-room Holiday Inn Express Changbaishan in China. The midpriced brand has one other property in the state, in Kailua-Kona on Hawaii Island.
The fifth-floor deck includes a variety of amenities, including a pool and jet spa, nine holes of mini-golf, ping pong, foosball, pool tables, shuffleboard, Wii gaming consoles, and a fitness center.
Other features of the property include a complimentary hot breakfast buffet, a $50 discount on any activity or tour booked at the hotel activities desk, with options including parasailing, zip lining, sunset cruises, luaus and Pearl Harbor tours.
The 44-story hotel is managed by Aqua Hotels and Resorts.
