OLS Hotels and Resorts took over operations at the Volcano House inside Hawaii Volcanoes National Park on June 10, the company announced in a press release. OLS has agreed to provide sales, marketing and revenue optimization services to the hotel.

"We are proud to add the iconic Volcano House to our expanding portfolio of Hawaii properties, as the hotel is truly a one-of-a-kind asset with deep historical and cultural importance to residents and visitors of the islands," Ben Rafter, CEO of OLS Hotels and Resorts, said in a statement.

Volcano House is the only hotel and restaurant located within Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, and is perched on the rim of Kilauea volcano caldera with a view toward Halemaumau Crater. The property dates to 1846 and includes a full-service restaurant, gift shop, meditation room, and daily park tours and other activities.

"On behalf of the entire Volcano House team, I'd like to say how excited we are to partner with OLS Hotels and Resorts," Orin McCann, general manager of Volcano House, said in the release. "This new partnership is a significant part of our hotel's rebirth following the recent eruption of Kilauea Volcano, and we're ecstatic to have the OLS team on board to assist in creating memorable stays for our guests who seek once-in-a-lifetime experiences while discovering the wonder of Volcanoes National Park."

OLS's portfolio includes 24 hotels and resorts throughout the U.S., including five in Hawaii.
