Hawaii's first Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton property is scheduled to open this fall on West Oahu.
The 175-room property is currently under construction in the town of Kapolei and will be part of the new Ka Makana Alii shopping center, a 1.4-million-square-foot development featuring more than 150 retailers and restaurants.
Managed by Aqua-Aston Hospitality, the new budget-friendly Hampton Inn & Suites property will feature free WiFi and free hot breakfasts. Aqua-Aston also named Wade Gesteuyala as general manager and Leslie Cho as director of sales on Aug. 17.
Gesteuyala worked most recently as the general manager at the Hawaii Prince Hotel Waikiki while Cho worked at the Ala Moana Hotel in Honolulu.
