Outrigger Hospitality Group augmented its executive team with the addition of Kenny Kan as senior vice president and chief development officer, the company announced Sept. 19.
Filling a reintroduced position, Kan reports directly to Outrigger president and CEO Jeff Wagoner and oversees the company's future growth. Kan will work on acquisitions of resort properties and securing management contracts in Hawaii and abroad.
"The decision to appoint a chief development officer is a direct correlation with our mission to be the premier beach resort brand in the world," Wagoner said in a statement. "We have many groundbreaking developments in the pipeline for 2020 and are poised for continued growth with Kenny to help navigate this exciting voyage."
Kan brings several years of recent experience as vice president, capital markets and treasurer, for Alexander and Baldwin, Hawaii.
