The Sheraton Waikiki recently announced three appointments to its leadership team.

Jason Kim is the property's new hotel manager, most recently serving as general manager at Aloft Seoul Myeongdong in his native South Korea. Kim began his career in the hospitality industry nearly 20 years ago in food and beverage, and also served as director of restaurants and bars at the Sheraton Princess Kaiulani early in his career.

Casey Obatake is Sheraton Waikiki's new director of operational excellence. She began her hospitality career in 2000 at the Moana Surfrider. She then moved up the ranks in the housekeeping department at the Sheraton Waikiki, where she was both housekeeping project manager and assistant director of housekeeping.

Finally, Shaun Ono is the recently appointed director of rooms, moving up from his previous position as assistant director of rooms. Ono began as an intern for the Sheraton Waikiki in 2004, and has served in a variety of guest-service capacities such as Japanese guest service manager director of guest services at the Moana Surfrider, and director of Asia guest services for the Sheraton Waikiki and The Royal Hawaiian.
