Oahu's Waimea Valley nature preserve, known for its botanical gardens and swimmable, 45-foot waterfall and pool, is offering a lineup of summer programming and a new tour.
Monthly events include a summer concert series, taking place the last Saturday of June, July and August. Beginning at 4 p.m., the concerts feature live music by beloved Hawaii artists and hula. Presale tickets are available now at $50 for adults and $30 for children and seniors for all three shows, or $20 for adults and $15 for children and seniors for a single-day concert.

Starting in June, a new sunrise tour will allow guests to experience the valley at 7:30 a.m. before it opens to the public. At $80 per person, it is a guided experience that includes transportation on the electric shuttle and an opportunity to swim at the waterfall.
"Waimea Valley warmly welcomes both returning and first-time visitors, along with our kamaaina [residents], to experience all that makes this special place so meaningful to Hawaii," said executive director Richard Pezzulo in a news release. "Whether guests are exploring our botanical gardens, learning from cultural practitioners, enjoying live music and hula or simply taking in the beauty of the valley and waterfall, there truly is something for everyone."
