Travelers dining at several Maui restaurants can turn a meal into a small contribution to the island community through Hana Hou Hospitality's round-up program.
Guests at Mala Ocean Tavern, Coco Deck Lahaina, Pizza Paradiso and Pineapple Robot can choose to round their check up to the nearest dollar, with 100% of the contributions donated to a rotating Maui nonprofit.
The program is supporting different organizations in 2026. This quarter, the donations will go to Kahakukahi Ocean Academy, which supports Maui's' youth through ocean education, environmental stewardship and mentorship. Next quarter, it will support Lahaina Restoration Foundation, a nonprofit that preserves Hawaii's landmarks and heritage. Most of the historical buildings managed by the nonprofit were destroyed in the Lahaina fire.
"While a few cents or dollars may seem small, those contributions add up and provide meaningful support to organizations doing important work throughout Maui," Hana Hou Hospitality said.
