Tired of Internet leisure bookers? There's relief: business travelers

I especially enjoyed Richard Turen's column about the "travel agent no more" in the U.K. [Reality Check: "Avoid a mission of self-destruction," Jan. 16.]

My young-adult stepchildren live in the U.K., and they have no clue what I do to advise our clients about how to get the best travel experience. They think the Internet has it all. I don't know about you, but I am so done with people booking their own stuff on the Internet, then calling me to help fix a mistake or problem.

Thank goodness I now handle corporate travelers, who are more kind and appreciative of my knowledge. Working with the leisure traveler who takes a vacation once a year is not my cup of tea. Their expectations are off the charts when they only have a dime to spend.
