The multi-purpose Kachula Adventure Blanket from Salt Lake City outdoors outfitter Coalatree does a lot of things, all of them well. For starters, it is a 50 inch by 72-inch ripstop nylon blanket with a nylon flannel bottom (both made from 100% recycled materials) that is nimble enough to be stuffed into a zippered stash pocket for portability and/or use as a pillow while you are traveling.

There are lots of way to express yourself, but who knew buying a carryon bag could bring out the Picasso in you. Roam Luggage, it turns out, enables you to mix and match the front and back shell colors, trim, zipper, wheel hubcaps, handles and more to design a bag that is expressly and uniquely your own.

It is not surprising that a waterproof cap that floats comes from a company named Everyday California. Also not surprising, the baseball-type cap made with an aviator-grade satin fabric is just the thing for outdoor adventurers.
