Excellence Group Luxury Hotels & resorts is investing $8 million in their four properties in Cancun and Riviera Maya. The investment will be used to update dining options, as well as bring upgrades to amenities of certain room categories.
Beloved Playa Mujeres, the adults-only property, will debut contemporary French restaurant Le Bisou. The existing dining venues will be revamped and converted to a steakhouse, Italian trattoria, and Lobster & Seafood House.
Excellence Playa Mujeres will open Aroma coffee house, as well as an artisanal mezcal and tequila lounge. Excellence Club guests will have a new lounge, as well, with top-shelf liquor and a new restaurant Magna, which will serve breakfast and dinner a la carte.
Excellence Riviera Cancun will upgrade its Las Olas restaurant and Finest Playa Mujeres will open a new Sea Side a la carte restaurant, which will only be open to Finest Club and Excellence Club guests.
As far as room upgrades go, the Junior Swim-up, and Private Pool Suites categories will receive new wooden decks at Finest Playa Mujeres, Excellence Riviera Cancun and Excellence Playa Mujeres.
