Pleasant Holidays is marking its 20th anniversary of selling Mexico vacation packages with special promotions throughout the year.
“Since our launch in 1993, the Mexico portfolio has grown substantially,” said Jack Richardson, president and CEO. “Mexico now is one of our largest destinations, encompassing nearly 200 hotels and resorts in 15 locations, and we are seeing double-digit growth in 2013.”
Significant upswings are evident in the group, destination wedding and incentive markets, according to Richardson.
Rodolfo Lopez-Negrete, CEO of the Mexico Tourism Board, observed the 20th anniversary milestone, as well, pointing out that Pleasant Holidays “has been a tremendous partner in sharing the warmth of Mexico, educating travel agents and travelers about the many opportunities to explore this diverse land.”
Special promotions available this year include a $250 Hot Deals savings at participating hotels and resorts in Cancun, Los Cabos, Puerto Vallarta, Riviera Nayarit and the Riviera Maya. The offer is valid on stays of five or more nights for new bookings made by March 10 for air-inclusive travel through Dec. 15.
That promotion will be followed by other special offers as well as travel agent events and social media efforts during key travel periods for families, weddings, honeymoons and group travel.
A special icon noting the company’s 20 years as Mexico travel experts has been created to designate milestone promotions on marketing materials, as well.
