Las Ventanas al Paraiso, a Rosewood Resort with 84 suites and villas, is offering a set of creative experiences that ground guests more deeply in their location of Baja California Sur.

The resort's "Collection of Emotion" series will feature artist residencies, culinary opportunities and wellness experiences through a mix of contemporary Mexican artistry, historical techniques and experiences with nature.

Rotating residential artists will include Los Cabos muralist Rodrigo Azanza, who will transform the La Cava wine cellar into a living canvas to paint a Baja Sur-inspired mural using desert sand. From July 1-24, resort guests are welcome to meet, learn and watch as he employs one of the earliest painting techniques: fresco. Some of Azanza's other artwork and designs will also be available at the resort's retail boutique for guests wanting to take a piece home.

His wife, artist Coty Childres, will cohost intimate hands-on ceramic workshops where guests can work with clay for a nominal charge. Ceramics made by guests will be glazed and fired by the team before being shipped directly to their homes.

Designers and brothers Salvador and Enzo Compan of Lordag & Sondag will produce sculpture art installations throughout the property. The brothers will offer curated morning and evening walking tours, discuss the installations and host a special artifact dinner.

Artist Daniela Chinas will create textiles and offer Mixteco knot weaving workshops for a nominal fee, with guests bringing home their handmade creations. All three artists will be in residence Aug. 5-15.

Massages and the Milky Way

The resort will also offer a Mezcal Four Hands Ritual that recontextualizes mezcal as a medicinal "elixir." Based in the therapeutic traditions of Oaxaca, two therapists will perform a synchronized four-hand massage with oils inspired by the scent of local agave to restore mobility and vitality. Massages are priced at $786 per person.

The series will also include outdoor nature experiences, including a multicourse stargazing dinner at a secluded beach on the Sea of Cortez. A professional stargazing host will guide guests through the constellations with a telescope, and the dinner will culminate in a "Milky Way" dessert made to mirror the celestial bodies. The dinner starts at $1,485 per couple.

Guests can also book a picnic on the beach on the Sea of Cortez. Cabo-inspired woven textures and lanterns will serve as decor as guests feast on a selection of seasonally inspired hors d'oeuvres, chilled champagne and an artisanal cheese and charcuterie board sourced from local farms. The picnic starts at $980 per couple.

The Mezcal four-hands massage, beach picnic and stargazing dinner are available to book from June through October.
