Zadun Los Cabos, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve resort in Baja California Sur, will give visitors a taste of Balinese cuisine and culture for two weeks next month.
From May 8 to 22, the property will feature executive sous chef Eka Sunarya from Mandapa, a sister Ritz-Carlton Reserve resort in Bali, which was awarded three Michelin keys last year. At Mandapa's signature restaurant, Kubu, he develops dishes that highlight ingredients foraged within a 100-kilometer radius of the resort and uses innovative techniques, including the sous-vide method of sealing foods in vacuumed-sealed bags and cooking them in a bath at precise low temperatures.
The resort features a Latin restaurant called Humo, where each dish is grilled over mesquite wood, as well as workshops that include wine-making and cacao tastings.
Sunarya's residency will include cooking classes, interactive demonstrations and curated tastings.
