The Riu Latino has opened as the third Riu Hotels & Resorts property in Costa Mujeres, just north of Cancun. This brings the total number of Riu hotels in Mexico to 21. The resort features 24-hour, all-inclusive services for its 594 rooms.
Guests can choose from standard double rooms to suites with views of the Caribbean Sea. There are also swim-out rooms with private pools. The Riu Latino has six restaurants, the main one being Moctezuma. It also features an Italian restaurant, Milan, and an Asian restaurant, Geisha. Other options include the steakhouse, a gourmet restaurant called Kulinarium and a grill buffet. Five bars round out the F&B offerings.
The resort has five pools, in addition to a Splash Water World Water Park. Adults can unwind at the Renovations Spa. Guests can party into the wee hours at club Pacha, which is open from 11 p.m. to 2 a.m. Beginning in December, Riu Latino guests will be able to enjoy the Riu parties held at the nearby Riu Dunamar.
