The Riu Cancun, closed for several months for extensive renovations, opened its doors on Aug. 2 in the heart of Cancun’s hotel zone.
The $30 million renovation project included all guestrooms, restaurants, pool areas and gardens as well as the lobby and facade.
The main restaurant Miramar has been refurbished, the pool restaurant now is divided into two sections that feature an enclosed and heated area and an outside terrace area.
Four bars have had a refit, and there now are four pools, including an infinity pool.
