Riu Hotels & Resorts launched new menu offerings at its themed restaurants at Riu Palace properties in Cabo San Lucas, Cancun and Playa del Carmen and on the Riviera Maya and Riviera Nayarit.
The new gastronomic offerings include close to 100 new dishes created by pastry chefs, bar and restaurant teams and executive chefs at the brand’s Italian, Asian, Japanese, steakhouse and signature Krystal restaurants.
The menus’ variety increased from four to six choices of main courses for guests at the themed restaurants.
Another new feature is in the dining room service with waiters now giving the final touches to dishes at the table with different sauces and soups or smoking a steak when serving.
Guests’ opinion and suggestions were taken into account when devising the new menus, which include new vegetarian items at all restaurants.
The new menus will launch in July in the Riu Palace resorts in the Dominican Republic and Jamaica and will gradually cover all 16 Riu Palace hotels in the Americas, including the recent acquisitions of the Riu Palace Antillas in Aruba and the Riu Palace St. Martin.
