Following a multimillion-dollar rebuild, Temptation Cancun Resort has reopened with 430 guestrooms and public spaces that epitomize designer Karim Rashid's "sensual minimalism."
The Playground for Grown-Ups welcomes age 21 and over to experience a sensual vibe throughout the entire property, with its bright colors and rounded, human-like shapes designed to optimize feelings of connectivity and attraction.
The design makeover for Temptation began on Sept. 25. Newly reimagined guestrooms have a private terrace or balcony. All rooms feature an LED TV, free WiFi, 24-hour room service and an in-room minibar. A selection of rooms and suites include pool and beach butler service, pillow menu, outdoor Jacuzzis, aromatherapy and Blissful Beds.
Eight new restaurants showcase 15 different cuisines. Temptation's signature aphrodisiac restaurant, "SHE," is an elegant, couples-only experience offering a multiple course menu. Guests will have 24-hour premium beverage service at five different bars. The rooftop Sky 3.5 Bar is scheduled to open in October and will offer 12 hours of sound and performances, as well as a menu and cocktails.
Spa Rose offers a vast array of treatments. Signature experiences include couples' treatments such as the Temptation Sensual Massage and the Delicious Chocolate Temptation, body treatments such as the Pithaya Exfoliation and the After-Su Body Wrap, as well as a selection of massages, facials and hydrotherapy.
A variety of entertainment activities heat up the night with live shows performed by the resort's professional cast; live music and dancing; contests; and theme nights that include: Heaven & Hell, Let It Glow, Turn Back Time Temptation, Lingerie Lounge, Mex Fest, Imperial White Night and Bedtime Bash.
