Namibia Tourism has launched a free online education initiative for members of the North American travel trade to help them promote and sell the destination.

The Namibia Specialist Program provides tour operators, travel agents and industry stakeholders with a thorough understanding of the destination's tourism product and experiences as well as tailored resources to effectively promote and sell “The Land of Endless Horizons” to U.S. and Canadian travelers.
This online accreditation comprises three education modules and three quizzes. Candidates must obtain at least an 80% or higher grade on each quiz to advance through each section of the curriculum. Upon its successful completion, participants will be designated a Namibia Specialist and able to promote their accreditation by displaying Namibia Tourism’s Destination Specialist logo on marketing materials.
In addition, graduates will have exclusive benefits, including:
• Preferred agent listing on Nambia Tourism's website (http://www.namibiatourism.com.na/) within the "Plan Your Trip" section
• Having itineraries posted on the Namibia Tourism's Facebook Tours tab, where tourists can filter tours by price and length
• Obtain market research and insight to further guide sales efforts
• Participation in Namibia Tourism's marketing campaigns that drive customer referrals
• Preference for Namibia Tourism-sponsored familiarization tours to Namibia
• Additional marketing support from Namibia Tourism
