Just one block from the Strip on East Flamingo Road, the Westin Las Vegas Hotel, Casino & Spa has a new operator at the helm. Crescent Hotels & Resorts, which operates more than 100 North American properties, has been named manager of the 826-room hotel, which also has a small casino, meetings space, a wedding venue, a rooftop pool and a spa.
Improvements to the property, which opened originally as the Maxim Hotel & Casino in 1977, are planned under the new management.
“The Westin Las Vegas Hotel, Casino & Spa is a great fit for our expertise,” Michael George, CEO of Crescent Hotels & Resorts, said in a press release. “Our unique approach as an elite Starwood property manager, combined with our experience in Las Vegas and other major destination markets, will maximize the potential of this asset.”
