Beginning this Thursday, Feb. 17, fully vaccinated guests at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando will no longer be required to wear face coverings in indoor locations.

“We expect guests who are not fully vaccinated to continue wearing face coverings in all indoor locations, including indoor attractions and theaters,” Disney said on its website.

Mask-wearing will continue to be required on enclosed Disney transportation for all guests age 2 and older. That includes buses, monorails and the Skyliner.

Currently, all guests 2 and up must wear masks in all indoor locations. Face coverings are optional in outdoor areas.

Disney’s announcement comes on the heels of Universal Orlando Resort eliminating its face covering requirement indoors for fully vaccinated guests.
