Drury Hotels is developing a property in the Disney Springs Resort Area in Orlando set to open to guests in spring 2021.
The Drury Plaza Hotel Orlando Lake Buena Vista, Drury's largest property to date, will have 604 rooms and more than 12,000 square feet of meetings space. The first 264 rooms will be available in spring 2021, and the rest of the project is expected to be completed by the end of next year.
The hotel will be located near Disney Springs, Walt Disney World Resort's outdoor shopping, dining and entertainment complex.
Like other properties in the Disney Springs area, the Drury Plaza Hotel will be able to be booked as part of a Walt Disney World Resort vacation package. Transportation to and from the theme parks and other area attractions will be provided.
The hotel will have a pool, splash pad, poolside bar and grill, restaurant and bar. It will also have a marketplace for food items and sundries. Amenities include WiFi, hot breakfast, a 5:30 "Kickback reception" with appetizers and beverages and 24-hour business and fitness centers.
