The Brazilian Court Hotel in Palm Beach, Fla., has completed renovations to a selection of its studios and one-, two- and three-bedroom suites for the first time since 2008 in a project led by LSI Designs' Lauren Hastings.

Built in 1926 as a haven for the rich and famous, the Brazilian Court's newly revamped rooms feature decor and furnishings intended to keep the original glamour of the hotel while bringing the color palette up to date.

The main decorative element is a silk wall panel featuring a wisteria design. The softness of the panel stands in contrast to the dark mahogany wood and leather used in the furnishings as well as the marble in the bathrooms. The headboards and sofas are green velvet, which combine with white linens and pops of lavender.

The rooms now also feature a collection of black-and-white photography by artist Terry O'Neill, which pays homage to pop culture icons.

Room rates at the Brazilian Court hotel start at $349 per night.
