Just in time to mark its 50th anniversary, LaPlaya Beach & Golf Resort in Naples is unveiling its $30 million renovation as well as releasing some packages to commemorate the occasion.
The transformation, which included updated guestrooms and a new look for the OpenTable Diner's Choice winner BaleenNaples restaurant, was completed late last year. The resort's Gulf Tower now features oversize organic rugs, four-poster beds with Floridian-patterned linens, unique photography and well-appointed bathrooms with new backlit vanity mirrors and silver trimmings.
One package includes the new LaPlaya Living wellness program and invites guests to take part in a round of golf for two at the 18-hole, Robert Cupp-designed course, daily breakfast at BaleenNaples, a couples' treatment at the spa, pool cabana access and private airport transfers. The package starts a $809 per night.
The two-night How We've Transformed 50 package includes an oceanfront suite for two, a poolside cabana and bottle of Champagne, private airport transfers, a beach dinner for two at sunset, two couples' spa treatments at SpaTerre, a round of golf for two and a curated bourbon-pairing dinner at BaleenNaples.
