LaPlaya Beach & Golf Resort, a Noble House Hotels & Resort property located on a private, six-acre stretch of white-sand beach on the Gulf of Mexico in Naples, Fla., has completed a $6 million renovation.
The refit included updates to guestrooms in the Beach House, a separate beachfront building that is especially popular with families. Those rooms feature new bathrooms and expanded, private balconies with custom-designed Tropitone outdoor furniture.
Changes to the overall guest experience include new tropical landscaping in the pool area, chaise loungers and luxurious furniture for the private cabanas. The fitness center has new Precor cardio machines, and the resort's restaurant Baleen has refit the bar into a morning coffee counter that serves Lavazza espresso drinks. Guests with e-readers can also now access an expanded digital library with more than 5,000 newspapers and magazines.
The resort recently received a 2016 Readers' Choice Award from Conde Nast Traveler. Other honors include a listing among U.S. News & World Report's Best Hotels in Naples, an Award of Excellence on Wine Spectator's 2016 Restaurant Wine Awards list and a spot on the list of Top 100 Best Outdoor Dining Venues by OpenTable.com.
