Koyukuk River Tribal Tours is launching a tour this summer for visitors seeking an authentic Alaska Native experience. The tour offered by the Hughes-based company offers guests the opportunity to fish and observe subsistence activities conducted by guides and village elders on the Koyukuk River.
Guests can choose between a three-day or six-day excursion. Guests depart by plane from Fairbanks. Upon arrival in Hughes, they will be greeted by locals and given an introduction to the community located in Alaska's Far North region.
