Together with Cisco Systems, the Park MGM unveiled a "smart" meetings facility in December as the final element of the resort's Meeting Center.
Intended for teams collaborating with members both present and remote, the Ideation Studio is a group of 10 spaces encompassing 7,000 square feet that feature Cisco Webex Boards, which can be used as whiteboards or screens for wireless presentations and video conferencing.
Ideation Studio spaces are designed to be "device agnostic," meaning they work with computers, tablets and mobile phones from a full array of brands and actually recognize devices when they enter the room, eliminating login and compatibility issues.
With its high-tech environs and variety of spaces to accommodate groups of up to 24 people, the Ideation Studio is a new member of the International Association of Conference Centers (IACC).
"The designs of Park MGM's Ideation Studio have taken into consideration many of the trends and preferences from meeting planners that IACC has identified through its research," said IACC CEO Mark Cooper via press release. "The Park MGM leadership team has poured so much dedication and passion into developing a haven for small meetings, and we look forward to bringing our own events to these inspiring meeting spaces in the future."
