In its debut year, Ravella at Lake Las Vegas has been awarded the AAA Four Diamond Award for 2012.
More than 31,000 properties are AAA-approved, but only 4% of those achieve Four Diamond recognition.
“By earning a AAA Four Diamond Award in its first year of operation, Ravella has shown that it delivers exceptional experience in luxury and service,” AAA Nevada spokesman Michael Geeser said in a statement.
To be considered for AAA rating and approval, lodgings undergo a thorough evaluation by AAA’s full-time tourism inspectors. AAA experts judge lodgings on the exterior of the facility, public areas, guestrooms, amenities and bathrooms.
The 349-room Ravella, located 17 miles from the Strip, offers kayaking, boating and fly-fishing, a nearby Jack Nicklaus golf course and hiking and jogging trails. It also has a 30,000-square-foot spa and fitness center and 55,000 square feet of meetings or event space.
