With new branding and a new season around the corner, AmaWaterways will lean a little more into luxury.
The river cruise line announced upgrades across its fleet, from accommodations to dining to amenities. CEO Catherine Powell said AmaWaterways is "investing in the guest experience more than ever before."
Inside the cabins, guests will enjoy plush linens, bathrobes and slippers and bathroom amenities by Marie-Stella-Maris. With a new partnership, Laura Geller skincare and makeup will be available for purchase in each ship's gift shop.
The brand will also amp up its culinary offerings with new Italian lunches in the Chef's Table restaurant. Culinary director Robert Kellerhals will curate new signature dinners.
The main lounge has been named The Lark, where refreshments will be available through the day. AmaWaterways will introduce a new all-day menu there.
The wine list will be expanded to include more than 30 red, white and rosé wines on each sailing, alongside premium bottles for purchase. On select sailings, guests will be treated to sweets from regional chocolatiers.
AmaWaterways also will introduce a new bread concept, featuring multiple freshly baked
varieties each day, along with always-available snack jars filled with
house-made protein balls and muesli bars, dried fruit, nuts and freshly baked
cookies.
