Avalon Waterways is adding a new host to its Storyteller Series cruise lineup in 2024.
Author Jen Hatmaker will celebrate her 50th birthday on the Storyteller Cruise she will host.
Jen Hatmaker, a New York Times bestselling author, will host an itinerary called Cheers to 50 Years! A Storyteller Cruise & Birthday Celebration with Jen Hatmaker.
Hatmaker is the author of 14 books including "For the Love" and her latest project, "Feed These People: Slam Dunk Recipes for Your Crew." She is curator of the Jen Hatmaker Book Club and host of the 'For the Love' podcast. Hatmaker is a mom to five kids and lives just outside Austin, Texas.
The cruise will mix the Storyteller Series' core activities of intimate lectures and meet-and-greets with a birthday celebration for Hatmaker, who will be celebrating her 50th birthday onboard.
The eight-day itinerary will sail aboard the Avalon Passion roundtrip from Amsterdam on the company's Active & Discovery itinerary in Holland and Belgium, making stops in Ghent, Brussels, Antwerp and Rotterdam.
The cruise departs on Aug. 3, 2024, and fares start at $3,899.
