Chinese company Century River Cruises plans to launch a river cruise ship on the Yangtze River next year, the company's eighth on the river and its first newbuild since 2013.

The 650-passenger Century Glory, which will set sail in September 2019, will be the largest vessel on the Yangtze, according to Century, at 492 feet long and 70 feet wide.

Public areas will include a cinema, an atrium lobby, an indoor bar, an observation lounge, a sun deck bar, two dining rooms, a gym, a self-service laundry and a convenience store. The vessel will also incorporate newer technologies such as electronic propulsion, a rudder propeller and low-emission systems.

The staterooms will include connecting cabins for families traveling together.

Century River Cruises was founded 18 years ago, and the company has a fleet of seven river vessels sailing the Yangtze.
