Crystal River Cruises welcomed the 106-passenger Crystal
Debussy to its fleet. The vessel was delivered to CEO Tom Wolber in an official
handover ceremony at the MV Werften shipyard in Wismar, Germany.
The delivery of the Debussy brings to four the number of
river ships Crystal has in its fleet since entering the river cruise market in
2016.
The Debussy on April 9 will set sail on its maiden voyage, a
roundtrip cruise out of Amsterdam, after which it will sail seven- and 10-day
itineraries between Amsterdam and Basel along the Rhine River.
Crystal will welcome the Crystal Ravel to the fleet next
month, joining the Bach, Mahler, Debussy and Mozart.
The Debussy is an all-balcony, all-suite vessel with all
cabins situated above the waterline. There is butler service in every room
category, as well as king-size beds, panoramic French balconies and walk-in
closets.
The Debussy features farm-to-table cuisine in multiple,
open-seating eateries: the elegant Waterside Restaurant, Bistro cafe and intimate
Vintage Room. There is also the Palm Court for entertainment.
Each river itinerary includes special events that are
designed to offer rare access and musical performances in iconic landmarks.
Excursion group sizes are limited to no more than 15 guests on motorcoaches with
free WiFi.
