Haimark Travel’s 68-passenger Mekong Navigator made its inaugural voyage through Vietnam and Cambodia this month, the first vessel in the Haimark fleet to set sail.
The Breckenridge, Colo.-based Haimark was founded in 2012 by several Pandaw vets. They set out to build and sell river cruises in exotic destinations such as Myanmar, India, Vietnam and Cambodia, a vision that has expanded to the Peruvian Amazon and coastal cruising in the Americas.
The Mekong Navigator, the first ship in the company’s growing portfolio of newbuilds, launched on Sept. 6, and will sail seven-night itineraries from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, to Kampong Cham, Cambodia, starting at $1,999 per person, based on double occupancy.
The vessel features 545-square-foot Grande Suites; two 297-square-foot Prestige Suites; 16 Signature Suites at 269 square feet each; 10 Vista Suites at 255 square feet each; and four Superior Suites on the lower deck at 258 square feet each.
Public areas include Le Salon, the bar and lounge; Le Marche, the onboard restaurant; a spa; fitness center; library; boutique; and sun deck.
