Riviera River Cruises is enabling guests who take a Danube River cruise to add a tour of Prague to their itinerary. The option will be available for select cruises in 2022.

The seven-night cruise begins in Budapest and travels west to Linz, Austria, and back. Following the cruise, guests will cross the Czech countryside to Prague, "The City of a Hundred Spires."

During a stop in Brno along the way, guests will visit the Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul with its lofty spires, medieval Spilberk Castle or the Old Town Hall that dates to 1240.

In Prague, guided tours take in the 14th century stone arches of the Charles Bridge, the Gothic Tyn Church, the Powder Tower, and the castle and cathedral complex of Hradcany. Guests will also visit the Lodi Brewery and sample its beer. There also will be time for individual exploration.

The entire trip includes the seven-night cruise, three nights of hotel accommodations with breakfast and 10 guided tours. The package starts at $3,158 per person based on double occupancy.

The MS Emily Brontë, MS Thomas Hardy and MS William Wordsworth will sail this itinerary with the extension. Each all-suite riverboat accommodates 169 guests.
