Viking is launching a new travel advisor training program.
The Viking Travel Advisor Academy is designed to provide travel advisors with the tools to promote Viking and the opportunity to earn exclusive benefits through a four-module academy. Upon completion, advisors become a Viking Certified Expert.
Through the program, advisors will learn the sales and marketing strategies and tips that the company says have proven to be successful in selling its river, ocean and expedition voyages.
The training academy will also unlock special benefits for advisors who complete the course in its entirety.
Advisors get a $100 booking incentive on a Viking reloadable Visa card for every confirmed booking made within 30 days of completing the Viking Fundamentals, Rivers, Oceans and Expeditions courses; a certificate acknowledging course completion as well as a Viking Certified Expert digital badge to display on websites and email signatures; and eligibility for special travel advisor cruise rates and fam sailings.
Travel advisors can register for the academy through the Viking Travel Advisor Portal or reach out to their Viking director of business development.
