The dollar value of U.S. airline ticket
sales through travel agencies through the first six months of 2015 fell
0.9% from the same period a year earlier, while the number of transactions through agencies rose 4.9%, ARC said.
Through June, sales
totaled $48 billion and transactions were 81.2 million.
Last year, ARC sales rose 4% from a year earlier, to $89.6
billion, and transactions rose 2.4%.
