Cathay Pacific will resume service between Hong Kong and Chicago O'Hare on Oct. 3.

The flight will operate three times weekly with an Airbus A350-1000 aircraft with economy, premium economy and business class cabins.

Cathay Pacific will be the lone carrier servicing Hong Kong-Chicago, Cirium flight schedule data shows. The airline last regularly operated the route in March 2020, though it flew the route weekly in December 2021 and in August of 2021 and 2022.

Cathay currently flies to four other U.S. destinations from its Hong Kong base -- New York, Boston, Los Angeles and San Francisco.
