Delta plans a record transatlantic expansion next summer

Delta plans a record summer 2025 transatlantic expansion with seven new routes and additional service to existing destinations.

Several of the new routes are to destinations in Italy. Starting next May, Delta will fly four times per week between Boston and Milan, Minneapolis-St. Paul and Rome, and Atlanta and Naples. Delta also will operate daily service between New York and Catania in Sicily.

Other new routes launching in May include Detroit and Dublin (four times weekly), Atlanta and Brussels (three times weekly), and Boston and Barcelona (three times weekly). 

Delta plans to expand service between Atlanta and Athens, Rome, Barcelona and Zurich; and between Detroit and Munich.

In all, Delta plans to operate more than 700 weekly flights to 33 European destinations.
